Will we see you at the 2016 Employee Risk Conference?

On Thursday the 9th of June CSI Africa will be exhibiting at the iFacts 2016 Employee Risk Conference. CSI Africa founder and CEO Amelia Griesel will be present to answer all your polygraph-related questions, and provide strategic guidance for the implementation of cost-efficient employee risk-management strategies.

Polygraph matters in a struggling economy

The rising cost of living driven by factors such as drought and resulting food shortages as well as a weak economy and rising unemployment are motivators capable of driving seemingly ordinary folk to extreme measures.

The risks they carry with them are often not on record either; having all the qualifications and experience necessary to do the job is one thing, but are these individuals who they appear to be on paper?

After all, the lack of a record simply means there has not been a conviction – perhaps due to insufficient evidence? Questions like “Have you ever stolen something from a previous employer?” have become more important than ever – and the polygraph will see through a simple “no”.

Pre-employment polygraph testing also verifies character. Substance abuse, traits or psychological disorders which may pose a danger to other employees, and general truthfulness all fall under this type of polygraph testing.

Greater hiring efficiency means better performance.

Periodic polygraph testing gives you, the employer, the opportunity to ensure that individual employees are still on the straight and narrow.
