Notice: Discontinuation of Sexual Offenders Checks Service

CSI introduced the Sexual Offenders Clearance Checks service in 2022 as a supportive measure to assist clients in meeting compliance requirements, particularly where screening against the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO) is necessary.

Despite our commitment to facilitating this process, it has become clear that the responsible government departments currently lack the operational capacity to reliably process SOC applications. This has resulted in extended delays, inconsistent feedback, and no clear timelines.

These ongoing challenges have had a direct impact on our ability to deliver the service effectively and have created reputational risk beyond our control. For this reason, CSI has made the decision to discontinue the Sexual offenders Checks service with immediate effect. No new SOC applications will be accepted.

We will, however, continue to follow up on previously submitted applications. We hold proof of submission for all outstanding requests and will do our utmost to obtain outcomes where possible.

Please note: We will still offer the Police Clearance service, which forms part of the NRSO submission requirements, and can be provided as a standalone offering going forward.

Should you wish to cancel any existing Sex Offenders Check applications currently in progress, please feel free to contact us directly.

We appreciate your understanding and remain committed to supporting your compliance efforts within the scope of what is operationally feasible.
