Over the last few years we’ve been expanding CSI Africa’s nationwide capture footprint to make police clearance certifcates and reports and identity verification more accessible throughout South Africa. Today we’re proud to have a total of 56 capture locations throughout South Africa.
These locations are available to individuals, businesses, and organisations who need to verify the identities of individuals, or who need police clearance certificates or reports.
In addition to these locations, we’ve also expanded our nation-wide dedicated SACE Assist presence to assist prospective teachers and other educators with South African Council for Educators (SACE) membership applications and renewals.
Increased demand
CSI Africa’s expansion of our nationwide capture footprint is due to an increase in demand for identity verification and criminal record checks among South African businesses and organisations.
This demand is largely due to an increased awareness of the perceived risks associated with hiring members of staff with a criminal record. These perceived risks include workplace safety, workforce integrity, potential legal costs, and losses as a result of crimes committed in the workplace.
Each of our nationwide capture locations can assist with criminal record checks (includes a police clearance report) and identity verification.
SACE membership
Where SACE membership is concerned, we’re aiming to alleviate the burden of travel placed on newly qualified teachers: conventionally an application could only be submitted in person at the SACE offices in Pretoria. This application has to be accompanied by police clearance, which requires an individual’s fingerprints. Applications made for a Police Clearance Certificate at a SAPS station may take up to 8 weeks.
With SACE Assist locations throughout South Africa, we can provide fast and efficient SACE-accepted same-day police clearance, as well as A-Z assistance with the entire SACE application process, including application submission and delivery of the subsequent membership documentation.
